That's right, 2007 marks the 10 year anniversary of the beginning of the Shadow Council. We may be looking at getting a little shindig together for those who'd like to get together and reminisce about past times, catch up on the present, and have some fun while doing it. Check out the forums if you are interested and spread the word to other SC members.

Damn, I can't believe it's been over 2 years since this home page was updated.

Everquest addiction is back and it's not playing fair. To say that Everquest 2 is like Everquest, is a complete understatement. The Everquest 2 team took the best things from Everquest, FF, DAoC, threw out the bad things of Everquest, and created a game that I know will keep me enthralled for a long time to come. Grogz and I at work the last week: "I feel a cold coming on."

To-do: Rename "Daily News" to "News whenever we can drag ourselves away from EQ2"

What's this? There's a new site design to accompany the guild's new mission in Everquest 2. The guild's official server is Blackburrow in case you're wondering and 99% of the guild is evil in case you want to level or need to know which way to do the deceiver quest. This does not mean you cannot be good and group with guildies. It is simply not practical until the higher levels because the zones you must run through to get from Qeynos to Freeport are ass-kickers to say the least.

Accomplishments:
11/13 - I was proud to become the first Fury/Warden on the server! For those who don't play EQ2, you become a Fury or Warden at level 20 when you complete your sub-class quest. I went the path of the Fury.
11/15 - Grogz hit 20 and became the third Shadow Knight on the server! Shadow Council was officially born in Everquest 2 along with the help of 60 silver. That may not sound like much, but in Everquest 2, it's a fortune. If you have 1 gold, you're rich.
11/16 - Grogz, Lilmidnit, and I killed the 4 named orcs to earn our keys for Bloodskull Valley although we still could not enter because Lilmidnit was not yet level 20.

Although we did obtain access from Zarvonn's Legacy quest and fought our way in the ring where we were able to get to round 3 after Grogz discovered the way to unlock it.
11/17 - Lilmidnit became one of the few Necromancers on the server! The guild now has 3 level 20+ with many more on the way!

If you hop on EQ2 please look up any of the SC players who are in the game - Squillari, Grogz, Crael, Lilmidnit, Baradak, Sonaen, Prawd, Fubuu, or, our very own Rickflare. Yes, even Rickflare plays EQ2!

• World of Warcraft beta's started [and I still don't have one. Life, you suck]
• Chopsticks explained. Sorta.
• Doom 3 went gold [and I still don't have it. Life, still sucking! The fact that it isn't in stores yet has nothing to do with this.. honestly...]
• Spider-man 2 movie was released
• Isaac Asimov rolled over in his grave. [Actually I liked the movie.. but that doesn't change the fact...]
• Duke Nukem Forever switched to using the Doom3 engine, but then George Broussard did a double take when Doom 3 beat Half-Life 2 to market, and was quoted as saying "What the fuck! Now Doom 3 engine is obsolete, we need to switch to Source engine! Shit! Now we have to throw away the 5 minutes of work we've done in the last 6 months!"
• Voldo dances. Funnier if you've ever played Soul Calibur, but still funny if not :)
• A life form evolved from the stuff in the back of your fridge, and is currently in negotiations for territory. Sadly it is making unreasonable demands about the area under the couch, which the Shelob-ite spider faction is staunchly opposing.
• Man charged with possession of alligator, and of hitting his girlfriend with it. Only in Florida, folks. I can't make this shit up.
• Fallout 3 announced! Rejoice!
• Vorynn posted one complete fabricated news item in a list updated on July 19, 2004. Can you tell which one? Discuss!

This is the time of year I think about what I'm thankful for. I'm thankful that I'm not a young kid
with cancer whose last wish was to spend time with Michael Jackson. Kid's are so stupid.
He should have asked for Paris Hilton, or that whore Christina Aguilera. Either way he would
have gotten his dick sucked.

I'm thankful for when I wasn't home when Scott Peterson called to see if I wanted to go fishing
with him last Christmas.

I'm thankful that when attending baseball games I'm smart enough to not interfere with the game
at play and that my name is not Steve Bartman.

I'm glad I only take cooking tips, not stock tips from my neighbor, Martha Stewart. Here's an
inside tip on Martha; she loves a good fisting, followed by being filled with a half gallon of milk...
and then fisted again till all the milk is pushed out.

I'm glad my sex tape with the Hilton sisters has not been made public. (It's not that exciting. It's just
Nikki laughing and pointing, while Paris rubs my back and assures me it happens to a lot of guys.)
Fuck you Nikki. Your handbags are all crap.

But mostly I'm glad I have you, my loyal Shadow Council guildies. Glad that at the end of the
month after blowing most of your paycheck on lube, donkeys, midget entertainers, you still have
something left over to pay for your EverQuest accounts...

We estimate him around 1 million hp or so.

And whats this? A naked Priest of Discord corpse.... and who's that wearing his robe and wielding his staff in triumph? Dang, we all thought he was retired :) Thanks for coming out Raselin, it's great to have you around.
