The Night of Noobage
Zlandicar, easiest of all the first brood dragons, a dragon that we've killed countless times. Yet this sad excuse of a dragon managed to waste 4 hours of our time today. How you ask? Due to very dumb mistakes on our part. First attempt, we didn't quite have the numbers since many people were still at work, but we decided what the hell, might as well take a shot at him. So we invis up and get ready to go into his lair, while we're moving in, somebody loses invis, he comes charging out of his lair. People start attacking him, and so our first attempt ends up with Zlandicar outside his lair. Somehow we manage to get him down, just as things are looking good, the son of a bitch gates, we had around 12 people alive at that point and it ended up in a wipeout.
The second attempt, we get a few more people, we fight back to his lair, as I'm pulling the rats next to his lair, I aggro Zlandicar, he comes running out of his lair wagging his tail after me. I try to feign him off but it's too late, he's at camp, same thing happened, and it resulted in another wipeout. People are getting pissed off, some of us found it very amusing. To cut this short, we ressed and buffed outside his lair, we pulled the rats without aggro'ing Zlandicar, nobody trained Zlandicar out of his lair this time. We engaged Zlandicar, the obligatory enchanter and gnome died, ruining the chances of a flawless killing.
We planted Zlandicar's face in his own god damn lair:
We also went to Fungus Grove sometime this last week to finish up the beastlord epic for Gilgamon:
