There is a first time for everything in EQ, and today was the first time for us to go after Velketor the Sorceror. It was a six to eight minute fight. Moneaone and Dagin died when Velketor was at half life. Velketor then turned on Shiner and he began building agro as everyone else stopped attacking. Soulsabre shouted to attack again and Crellin shouted for everyone to lay the bastard low with damage disciplines and nukes, 3 minutes later he was running. It was a flawless switch for clerics to the secondary tank and we took that bastard out like we had done it a hundred times before. Congratulations everyone on our first Velketor kill!
